About AABCS Scheme
The Annal Ambedkar Business Champions Scheme (AABCS) was launched to provide financial assistance to all the new entrepreneurs in the Tamil Nadu state. Under the scheme, the State Government will provide a 35% capital subsidy on the eligible Project Cost, not exceeding ₹1.5 crore. With the help of 35% of the capital fund, a financially unstable citizen can start their business without worrying about financial troubles. The scheme will also provide an interest subsidy of 6% for loans used to buy machinery and equipment. For the implementation of this scheme, the Tamil Nadu State government has put up a total budget of INR 100 crores.
