Biju Swasthya Kalyana Yojana Renamed as Gopabandhu Jan Arogya
The government of Odisha state has changed the name Biju Swasthya Kalyana Yojana and renamed it Gopabandhu Jan Arogya. The benefits of free healthcare are the same under the new name as well. The new name of the scheme was announced by the Chief Minister of Odisha state Mr Mohan Majhi during the presentation of the union budget for the financial year 2024-25. The new government of Odisha state has also changed the name of Kalia Yojana and some other glorious schemes of the previous government. All the permanent residents of Odisha state are eligible to avail the benefits of the newly named Gopabandhu Jan Arogya scheme.
