PM Kisan 18th Installment Release:- On Saturday, October 5, 2024, the PM Kisan 18th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) yojana was launched. The government has invested โ‚น20,000 crore on this payment, which will benefit around 9.4 crore farmers at a rate of โ‚น2,000 per farmer. The government has launched the PM Kisan 18th Installment to help farmers by providing financial assistance. On June 18, 2024, almost 9.25 crore farmers received the money in the preceding installment. This time, the number of beneficiaries has grown by around 25 lakh new farmers. As part of the PM Kisan Yojana, PM Narendra Modi has released the PM Kisan 18th Installment over โ‚น20,000 crore to over 9.4 crore farmers on October 5, 2024. The venue for the event is Maharashtra’s Washim. This program is intended for Indian small- and marginal farmers with up to two hectares of land holdings. Each year, โ‚น6,000 is instantly deposited into their bank accounts in three equal payments of โ‚น2,000. It is the biggest direct benefit transfer program in the world.

After the delivery of the 18th installment, the program would have disbursed more than Rs 3.45 lakh crore in total, benefiting over 11 crore farmers nationally and further solidifying the government’s commitment to agricultural prosperity and rural development.

The objective of 18th Installment

Giving financial support to farmers who have been waiting for their installment is the main goal of PM Kisan’s 18th installment. The eighteenth installment of PM Kisan was released on 5th Oct 2024 to help farmers with their farming expenses. After the Central Government paid out the 17th installment of PM Kisan Nidhi in June, the recipients are presently waiting for the next installment.
