PM Kisan 18th Installment Released
The Prime Minister of India Mr Narendra Modi himself launched the 18th installment of the PM Kisan Yojana during an event in Maharashtra state. During the event, the Prime Minister of India highlighted the importance of the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry and also donated a total of INR 23,000 crore to the Maharashtra State Agriculture Department. According to the reports, a total of INR 20,000 crore was released by the government of India for the distribution of the 18th installment of the PM Kisan Yojana. A total of 9.4 crores of small and marginal farmers of India have received a financial assistance transfer directly to their bank account.

- Only a marginal or small farmer is eligible to apply under this scheme.
- The applicant should not be a retired person receiving a pension of at least rupees 10,000 each month.
