The Ayushman Bharat scheme for senior citizens also known as the Ayushman Vaya Vandana was launched by the Prime Minister of India Mr Narendra Modi. Objective of Ayushman Vaya Vandana Card
The main objective of launching the Ayushman Vaya Vandana Card is to uplift the lives of all the financially unstable senior citizens of India. By launching this scheme the Government of India will provide benefits to more than 4.5 crore senior citizens across India. Various expenses that occur in the hospital including medicines, tests, checkups, hospital fees, and many other expenses will be covered under the Ayushman Vaya Vandana scheme. According to the Prime Minister of India, the Ayushman Vaya Vandana Card is universal and there is no income restriction.

STEP 1: All the senior citizens who have already applied for the scheme can now visit the PMJAY website to check the Ayushman Vaya Vandana Card Status online.
STEP 2: Now the homepage will appear on your desktop screen the senior citizens must locate and click on the option called “Am I Eligible”.
STEP 3: A new page will appear on your screen the citizens must enter their Aadhar card number and mobile number and click on the option “submit”.
