MK Stalin, the chief minister of Tamil Nadu state, announced the Tamil Nadu Makkaludan Mudhalvar Scheme to the public on December 18, 2023. In both urban and rural areas of the state, 1745 camps have been established at the Gram Panchayat and Municipality levels under this proposal.
