The newly elected State Government of Andhra Pradesh state has renamed the Jagananna Vidya Kanuka into the Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Vidyarthi Mitra scheme. The announcement was made by the new chief minister of Andhra Pradesh state Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu. According to the new chief minister of Andhra Pradesh state the new names will give a tribute to all the cornerstones of the Indian education system. All the students who will get selected under the scheme will receive school bags, textbooks, notebooks, uniforms, shoes, socks, and other stationery. Other various schemes are renamed by the current state government of Andhra Pradesh state.
