All the citizens of West Bengal State who have applied for the Bangla Awas Yojana can visit the official website and download the list available on the official website. The citizens just need to enter their address details to check the Bangla Awas Yojana beneficiary list online. All the citizens who will get selected under the scheme will find their names on the beneficiary list released by the authorities. The selected citizens under the scheme are eligible to receive free housing facilities from the West Bengal state government.
About Bangla Awas Yojana
To provide affordable housing to all the citizens of West Bengal State the West Bengal State Government introduced the Bangla Awas Yojana. The scheme is deeply inspired by the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana to provide affordable housing to the citizens who belong to the economically weaker section of society. All the citizens who are permanent residents of West Bengal State and do not own a pucca house are eligible to avail the benefits of the scheme. Depending upon the location of the beneficiaries the West Bengal State Government will provide financial assistance of INR 1.3 lakh for housing.
