The Maharashtra state government has announced the Namo Shetkari Yojana 5th Installment Date of 2024. All the small and marginal farmers of Maharashtra state who have applied for the Namo Shetkari Yojana can now visit the official website to check their 5th installment payment status online. All the farmers of Maharashtra state who were selected under the scheme will receive financial assistance of INR 6000 in 3 different installments. The Prime Minister of India Mr Narendra Modi has donated a total of INR 23,300 crore in Washim, Maharashtra in the agriculture and animal husbandry sector of Maharashtra state.
What is Namo Shetkari Yojana 5th Installment Date?
The Prime Minister of India Mr Narendra Modi himself announced the Namo Shetkari Yojana’s 5th installment date on 5th October 2024. The fifth installment of the scheme was aligned with the 18th installment of the PM Kisan Yojana. According to the Government of Maharashtra state the scheme 5th installment was released on October 5th, 2024. All the eligible farmers of Maharashtra state will receive the financial assistance under the scheme transferred directly to their bank account through the DBT process. Only the farmers who have already applied for the Namo Shetkari Yojana are eligible to receive the fifth installment of financial assistance.
About Namo Shetkari Yojana
The Maharashtra state government launched the scheme on 30th May 2023 to uplift the lives of the farmers of Maharashtra state who belong to the economically weaker section of the society. Under this scheme, the Maharashtra state government will provide financial help of up to INR 2000 that will be given to all the beneficiaries in 3 installments. All the farmers who have applied for the Namo Shetkari Yojana and also PM Kisan Yojana will receive a total financial assistance of up to INR 12000 in one year. With the help of financial assistance, the farmers can buy various farming equipment and other facilities like education for their children and upgrade their farming equipment.

Namo Shetkari Yojana 5th Installment Released
The first installment of the Namo Shetkari Yojana was launched by the Maharashtra state government on 27th June 2023. All the selected farmers of Maharashtra state received financial assistance within 1 week of the launch of the first installment. As per the Government of the Maharashtra state a total of 90 lakh small and marginal farmers of Maharashtra state have received financial assistance under the Namo Shetkari Yojana. The Government of Maharashtra state has released a total of 1900 crore worth of financial assistance under the scheme. The latest installment released under the scheme is the 5th installment that is released on 5th Oct 2024.
