Objective of Odisha Antyodaya Gruha Yojana

The financial support under the initiative would be increased from the current Rs 1.2 lakh to Rs 1.8 lakh per housing unit, the state government stated on Monday. Rabi Narayan Naik, the minister of Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water, informed reporters that a plan recipient had received Rs 1.2 lakh. She or he would now be eligible for a Rs 1.8 lakh financial aid package. The total will be Rs 2 lakh if the wage component under the MGNREGA (rural employment scheme) is taken into account.
