Eligibility Criteria
- The selected students must have passed the annual Higher Secondary examination in 2025.
- The students must have completed class 12th in Science/Arts/Commerce/Vocational Stream conducted by CHSE, Odisha, or Upashastri Examination, 2024, conducted by Shree Lagannath Sanskrit Vishvavidyalaya.
- The students must have their names appear in the list of meritorious students published by the Higher Education Department of Odisha, the state.
- The students must have their bank account linked to their Aadhar card number.
- Students must consult with the bank to ensure their bank account is eligible to receive INR 30,000.

Selection Process
- The authorities first analyse the meritorious student list released by the higher education department and divide it into various categories.
- The students will be selected on the basis of their marks and the allocation of the block/ ULB.
- Preferably, students who score more than 60% will be selected by the authorities under the scheme.
- Only those students who are on the beneficiary list will be able to apply for the scheme to avail the benefits.

Odisha Laptop Scheme Apply 2025
- STEP 1: All the students who want to apply for the Odisha Laptop Scheme are requested to visit the Odisha SSP website and fill out the application form online.
- STEP 2: Once the students reach the homepage of the official website, they must locate and click on the option called “register now”.
- STEP 3: A new page will appear on your desktop screen the students must enter their Aadhar card number and click on the option “get OTP”.
- STEP 4: Now, the students must enter the OTP they have received to complete the registration process.
- STEP 5: Now, the students can click on the option “Apply Now” available under the scheme, and the application form will appear on their desktop screen.
- STEP 6: The students must enter all the details that are asked for and attach the necessary documents to the application form.
- STEP 7: After entering all the details, the students can click on the option “submit” to complete their process.
Aadhaar seeding with Bank Account
- The beneficiaries must complete the Aadhar seeding with bank account process to receive the financial benefits under the scheme.
- The beneficiaries can simply visit the bank branch and submit the application form for the Aadhar seeding.
- The bank branch will verify all the minor details you have filled out on the application form and authenticate the customer with fingerprints.
- After approval, the bank branch will link your Aadhar card with your bank account and also in the NPCI mapper.
- Once the activity is complete, the beneficiaries can now see their Aadhar card number in NPCI mapper.
