The central government of India has started the PM Kisan New Farmer Registration for the 20th Installment Online. All the farmers of India who clear the eligibility criteria can now visit the official website to apply for the PM Kisan Yojana online. With the help of the online system, the farmers did not have to visit any government office and waste their time and effort to apply for the scheme. Only those farmers who are registered under the scheme will receive the benefits of the 20th installment of the PM Kisan Yojana. The financial benefit of INR 2000 will be given to the farmers under the 20th installment.
Release Date of PM Kisan 20th Installment
Recently, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India announced that the 20th Installment of the PM Kisan Scheme will be disbursed into the bank accounts of 9.70 crores beneficiaries on 2nd August 2025. The total amount of INR 20500 will be transferred by the PM at the venue Banauli, Sewapuri, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. Under this scheme, the beneficiaries will get INR 2000 as the 20th installment under this scheme. The amount will be transferred into the account through the direct benefit transfer method to avoid any hurdles.

Eligibility Criteria
- The citizens must be permanent residents of India and farmers by profession.
- The farmers or the members of the farmer family must hold cultivable land.
- Indian farmers who operate small and medium-sized farms are qualified to apply for the funds.

Ineligibility Criteria
- If any farmer is an institutional landholder, he is not eligible to avail the benefits of the PM Kisan Yojana.
- Farmers who have held or currently serve in government positions (constitutional posts, employees/officers in government ministries, PSUs, or local bodies) are not eligible.
- Current or former ministers, MPs (Lok Sabha/Rajya Sabha), members of State Legislative Assemblies or Councils, District Panchayat Chairpersons, and Municipal Corporation mayors are excluded.
- Farmers who their family members and who are currently paying income tax in the previous year’s assessment are eligible.
- Farmers who have retired with a pension of INR 10,000 per month are not eligible, except for certain lower-level employees (Class IV or Group D).
- Families with professionals such as doctors, engineers, lawyers, and architects are ineligible for the scheme.

PM Kisan New Farmer Registration 2025
- STEP 1: All the farmers who want to register for the PM Kisan Yojana can now visit the PM Kisan Samman website.
- STEP 2: Once the farmers reached home homepage of the official website, famous located and clicked on the option called “register”.
- STEP 3: A new page will appear on your desktop screen. The farmers must enter their Aadhar card number, mobile number, and click on the option “send OTP”.
- STEP 4: Now, the farmers must enter the OTP that they have received and click on the option “submit”.
- STEP 5: The registration form will now appear on your desktop screen. The farmers must enter all the details that are asked and attach the necessary documents.
- STEP 6: After entering the details, the farmers can click on the option “submit” to complete their process.
Search Farmer Registration Status
- STEP 1: All the farmers who want to search the Farmer Registration Status are requested to visit the official website.
- STEP 2: Once the farmer reaches the home page of the official website, they must locate and click on the option called “know your status”.
- STEP 3: A new page will appear on your desktop screen. The farmers must enter their registration number and captcha code and click on the option “Get OTP”.
- STEP 4: After entering the OTP that they have received, the farmers must enter it and click on the submit option to complete their process.
