While announcing the union budget for the Odisha state government, the Chief Minister of Odisha state Mr. Mohan Charan Majhi announced the launch of Samrudha Krushak Yojana 2024. Under this scheme, the Odisha state government will provide financial help to the citizens of Odisha state who are farmers by profession. With the help of this scheme, the farmers of Odisha state can sell their paddy crops to the government directly at INR 31 per quintal. About Samrudha Krushak Yojana
Yesterday the Odisha state government announced its Union budget for the financial year 2024-25 which mainly focuses on the agriculture sector of the state. According to the Government of Odisha state, a total of INR 33,919 crore has been allocated for the improvement in the agriculture sector. This year’s agriculture budget is 36% more than the previous year’s budget for agriculture in Odisha state. For the implementation of the scheme, the Odisha state government has set up a total budget of INR 5000 crores. All the farmers of Odisha state who cultivate paddy crops are eligible to avail the benefits of the Samrudha Krushak Yojana 2024.

The objective of Samrudha Krushak Yojana
The main objective of launching the Samrudha Krushak Yojana is to help the farmers of Odisha state by allowing them to earn more.
