The Chief Minister announced the launch of this scheme during an event at the Sampurnanand Sanskrit University in Varanasi on Monday, October 2024. A total of INR 5.86 crore will be given to the students who will get selected under the UP Sanskrit Scholarship Scheme 2024. The objective of launching the UP Sanskrit Scholarship Scheme is to revive the Gurukul culture in Uttar Pradesh state.
