Eligibility Criteria
- Ages 18 and 21, respectively, for girls and boys who plan to get married.
- A minimum SSC qualification is required for education. To get married, a couple must at least pass the matriculation exam.
- The total amount of land held is limited to three acres of wetlands and no more than ten acres of dry land.
- Families must make no more than Rs 10,000 in total income per month in rural areas and Rs 12,000 in urban areas.
- The average monthly production of electrical construction must not exceed 300 units. The recipients cannot be the offspring of public servants.
- Recipients are not permitted to let any member of their family receive a pension.
- Candidates are not permitted to own any kind of four-wheeled vehicle.
- To apply, they must be getting married for the first time.
Financial Assistance
- The various backward classes in India can receive up to 40,000 to 1.5 lakhs of financial assistance.

Features of the YSR Kalyanamasthu Scheme
- Generally, SCs and STs will receive benefits of approximately one lakh rupees.
- BC recipients who wed outside of their caste would receive Rs 75,000.
- Amount: Rs 50,000 for BCs.
- Those with disabilities will receive Rs 1.5 lakh.
- Two construction workers will each receive Rs 40,000 as part of this scheme in exchange for marriage.
- Handicapped or disabled people will receive 1.5 lakh.
