With the help of the online system of checking the application status the female citizens and the government can both save a lot of time and effort. The financial assistance of INR 1500 will be given to all the selected female citizens under the third installment of the Ladki Bahin Yojana. What is Ladki Bahin Yojana?
The chief minister of Maharashtra state Mr Eknath Shinde announced the launch of the scheme to help the female citizens of Maharashtra state who belong to economically weak families. All the female citizens of Maharashtra state who are selected under the scheme are considered as “sisters” by the authorities. Under the scheme, the Maharashtra state government will provide monetary incentives of up to INR 1500 to all the selected female citizens monthly. To provide financial assistance to the female citizens under the third installment the Maharashtra state authorities have distributed a total of INR 1545.47 crore.

The objective of Ladki Bahin Yojana
The main objective of launching the Ladki Bahin Yojana is to uplift the lives of all the female citizens of Maharashtra state who are not financially independent. With the help of the financial help under the scheme, the female citizens did not have to depend on anyone for their daily expenses. The financial assistance will be given to the female citizens through the DBT process increasing transparency and privacy. According to the report the Maharashtra state government has provided financial assistance under the 3rd installment to a total of 34,34,388 female citizens.
