No Proposal to Review or Revisit Shakti Scheme
According to the latest news, the Karnataka state government has no plans for review or revisor to the Shakti Scheme. The Chief Minister of Karnataka state minister Siddaramaiah has assured all the female citizens of the state that the state government is not taking away or making any changes in the current Shakti scheme. The Shakti scheme is a very big success in the Karnataka state helping almost 10 crore female citizens by providing free travel across the state. The beneficiaries have traveled 229 crore times for free, amounting to a ticket value of approximately Rs 5,500 crore.
