About One State โ One Digital Card
The chief minister of Telangana has launched this initiative to streamline the process of accessing all the social programs like of ration, health care, and all the other programs through this card. The one-state- Digital card is a program that will help citizens save a lot of time by applying for this card. The CM launched this initiative to test the system, this project will be launched, in which one urban and one rural area will be selected in each assembly constituency across Telangana. The family digital card will be launched in these locations to evaluate its efficiency before a statewide rollout.

Hereโs an implementation process for the Telangana Family Digital Card:
- Chief Minister of Telangana Anumula Revanth Reddy initiated the pilot project for issuing Digital Family Cards in 119 Assembly Constituencies.
- For this project, one urban and one rural area will be chosen from each constituency.
- In entirely urban constituencies, two wards or divisions will be selected. And, in fully rural areas, two villages will be identified for inspection purposes.
- As a result, inspections will take place across a total of 238 areas in all.
- In areas with higher population density, extra teams will be assigned to guarantee smooth and effective implementation of the project.
- Field visits for the pilot phase will take place between October 3 and October 7.
- Field officials must get family membersโ approval before taking photos for the card. If a family objects, the process will stop.
- Nodal Officers will assist district Collectors in ensuring effective field inspections.
- Family identification has already been done using data from Ration Cards, Pension schemes, and Self-Help Groups.
- Officials are responsible for making sure names are registered correctly and family details are updated to avoid errors.
- Once the pilot project concludes, officials will draft a report outlining the challenges encountered and the results achieved throughout the process.
