Ts Crop Loan Scheme Will be Implemented in Three Phases
After launching the Crop Loan Waiver scheme, the government has informed that the scheme will be implemented in three phases. In the first face of the Crop Loan Waiver scheme, the Telangana state government will waive loans of up to INR 1 lakh in the state. According to the Government of Andhra Pradesh state, the government will waive INR 6,098.93 crore for 11,08,171 loan accounts, benefiting 11,50,193 farmers in the first phase. The Telangana state government is all set to spend a total of 40,000 crores to waive of all the outstanding loans under the Crop Loan Waiver scheme.

Guidelines Issued for Crop Loan Waiver Scheme
The Telangana state government has also issued the guidelines for the Crop Loan Waiver Scheme. According to the Government of Telangana state only those loans obtained by the farmers on or after December 12, 2018, loans renewed after that date, and outstanding loans till December 9, 2023, will be waived off in one go. A loan of up to INR 2 lakh will be waived by the Telangana state government under the scheme. The farmer must have a food security card or a ration card to be selected under the Crop Loan Waiver Scheme.

The main objective of launching the Crop Loan Waiver Telangana 2024 is to help the farmers of Telangana state by waving their outstanding loans. With the help of this scheme, the Telangana state government will increase the social status and standard of living of all the financially unstable farmers of the Telangana state. This scheme will relieve all the farmers who have outstanding loans in Telangana. According to the state government of Telangana, every bank will have to appoint a bank nodal officer to implement the scheme. Till now the Telangana state government has waived off a total of INR 31,000 crore.
